This position is ideal for someone with a strong networking and systems administration background who is also comfortable working in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.This role is heavily focused on infrastructure, including network administration, virtualization, Windows server administration, Azure networking, identity management, and cloud technologies. The successful candidate will also provide Tier 2 technical support while collaborating with global IT colleagues and the Cybersecurity team on strategic initiatives, including cloud migration and modernization projects over the coming years.The Day to DayAdminister and support enterprise network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, VPN connectivity, routing, and network troubleshooting.Manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and enterprise authentication services.Administer Microsoft Azure services including Azure networking, virtual networks, security groups, identity services, and cloud resources.Manage Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune/Endpoint Manager, and licensing.Support VMware virtual infrastructure including virtual machines, storage, snapshots, and server maintenance.Perform Tier 2 end-user support for escalated desktop, laptop, and application issues.Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and enterprise applications.Participate in infrastructure upgrades, security initiatives, disaster recovery planning, and future cloud migration projects.Monitor system health, performance, backups, and infrastructure availability.Document systems, procedures, and technical configurations following IT best practices.Support conference room technology, printers, security badge systems, and other business-critical infrastructure as needed.What You Bring to SafranAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.3–7 years of experience administering enterprise network and server infrastructure.Strong knowledge of Cisco switching technologies, Palo Alto firewalls, Windows Server (2019/2022/2025), Active Directory (Group Policy, DNS, DHCP), Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune/Endpoint Manager)Experience with enterprise networking including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, and firewalls.Experience supporting VMware virtualization environments.Experience administering Windows-based enterprise environments.Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation is a plus.Linux/Unix server administration experience is a plus.Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex infrastructure issues.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical users.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.A proactive attitude, strong customer service skills, and a desire to continuously learn new technologies.Preferred QualificationsMicrosoft Azure or Microsoft 365 certifications.VMware VCP certification or equivalent experience.Cisco, Palo Alto, or other networking certifications are a plus.Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments.Experience participating in infrastructure migration or modernization projects.Why You'll Love Working HerePaid Time OffAnnual bonus opportunityComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverageHealth Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA)401(k) with company matching contributionsGym membership reimbursementTuition reimbursement to support your continued educationAn innovative, inclusive culture where your ideas are valued and your contributions make a differenceAt Safran Electronics & Defense, you'll combine passion for your job with a quality work environment adapted to a good life balance.
