Salary: $90,000 - 117,000 per year Requirements:

• We monitor internal and external managed infrastructures on a daily basis.
• We administer, maintain, and enhance our managed services technology stack.
• We provide behind-the-scenes technical support to our service desk and field teams.
• We review alerts and look for ways to proactively address recurring customer issues.
• We continuously improve alerting, monitoring, scripting, and automation within our managed services environment.
• We work with software, hardware, and cybersecurity vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• We perform network and infrastructure health assessments for managed services customers.
• We help report on the health, performance, and security of managed customer environments.
• We identify root causes of recurring technical issues and develop fixes to reduce future incidents.
• We assist with testing, implementation, documentation, and ongoing administration of new managed services technologies.
• We contribute to departmental goals tied to SLA performance, case resolution, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• We provide onsite and remote technical support to customers.
• We maintain an 80% billable utilization goal during designated customer-service days.
• We respond to customer inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
• We troubleshoot and resolve escalated service desk and customer infrastructure issues.
• We support desktops, servers, Microsoft 365, networks, and related infrastructure.
• We administer and maintain user accounts, permissions, email, and related services.
• We carry out scheduled maintenance both remotely and onsite.
• We troubleshoot workstation, server, networking, firewall, backup, and software problems.
• We create, document, update, and escalate customer issues in line with ticketing standards and SLAs.
• We monitor assigned tickets and tasks through to resolution or proper escalation.
• We keep case notes, time entries, documentation, and resolutions accurate and current.
• We follow established change-management and customer-support procedures.
• We identify potential customer needs and sales opportunities and pass them to the appropriate team members.
• We participate in the emergency on-call rotation.
• We maintain accurate and timely timesheets and service documentation.
• We collaborate with Service Desk, Systems Administration, Cybersecurity, and other IT Services colleagues.
• We take ownership of assigned issues through resolution and escalate when appropriate.
• We stay current on technical knowledge and continue developing our skills across our managed services platforms and customer environments.

We are part of the IT Services Group and this hybrid role reports to our Director, IT Services with no direct reports. The position combines proactive managed services administration with customer-facing systems administration, typically split between approximately three days per week focused on internal managed services work and two days per week providing onsite and remote support, though scheduling may vary based on customer and business needs. During designated customer-service days, we expect an 80% billable utilization goal. The role includes local/day travel as needed, collaboration across our Service Desk, Systems Administration, and Cybersecurity teams, and the opportunity to work both in our office and at customer locations while supporting a broad range of managed environments.
