Step into a fulfilling role supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher and Case Manager. This rewarding contract opportunity begins August 2026 and continues through May 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule totaling 30 hours per week. Your expertise will guide approximately 20 students in kindergarten through fifth grade toward academic and social success within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold a valid Virginia Special Education License
• Prior experience in a school-based special education setting preferred
• Strong organizational skills for case management duties
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Commitment to individualized student growth and achievement

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct instruction and differentiated support to K-5 students
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
• Serve as case manager for approximately 20 students, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, timely records
