ENGINEER (CLASS CODE 4025)

Professional engineering work for environmental, water sewer, street, and other public works projects and programs ensuring technical competence and compliance with all current codes and criteria; as well as related work as required. Registration as a professional engineer and license to practice in Louisiana is required. Out‑of‑state registrations are acceptable, but an applicant must prove Louisiana registration during the probationary period. No permanent status is granted until this requirement is met, and the probationary period may not exceed one year. Qualifications Professional engineer registration in Louisiana (out‑of‑state registrations accepted with verification). Domicile in Orleans Parish within 180 days of hire for full‑time employees hired on or after January 1 , 2013.
