The role involves the provision of both routine and complex care while focusing on long-range goals and plans. The Nurse effectively manages contingencies in clinical nursing and makes appropriate assignments, delegating tasks to other care providers to enhance the management of clinical situations. Responsibilities:\n \n Adheres to the competencies required for leadership, ensuring personal development and guiding others effectively. \n Provides nursing care in accordance with the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients. \n Adds to the holistic care of patients by addressing their complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs. \n Administers medications and treatments according to established protocols and monitors for side effects and treatment effectiveness. \n Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and responsibly. \n Assesses learning needs and offers education to patients, families, and caregivers, while identifying relevant issues and resources. \n Job Requirements: Education/Skills:\n \n Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. \n Experience:\n \n A minimum of 1 year of experience in the relevant nursing specialty is preferred. \n Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:\n \n BLS certification required (AHA only). \n RN License in the state of NM or compact. \n Work Schedule:\n 4 days a week, 10 hours per day.
