Upfit AssemblerWe are seeking skilled and motivated Assembler/Installer to join our production team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for assembling and installing components into commercial and fleet vehicles according to customer specifications. This includes both mechanical and electrical work, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble and install interior/exterior vehicle components, including steel cabinets, ladder racks, and partitionsPerform sub-assemblies adjacent to or along the assembly lineInstall purchased or pre-assembled parts into vehiclesPre-assemble and install alarms, wiring harnesses, and other electrical systems using diagrams and schematicsPackage and prepare items for shippingInspect components and finished assemblies for quality and accuracyClean completed vehicles prior to final deliveryComplete all necessary documentation and forms as requiredPractice proper material recycling proceduresMaintain a clean and safe work environment, following company safety and housekeeping standardsOperate hand-held power tools including drills, impact guns, ratchets, and rivet gunsPerform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Production SupervisorQualificationsMust be at least 18 years of ageHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum 3 months of experience in assembly, installation, or a related fieldAbility to follow written and verbal instructions in EnglishComfortable working independently or collaboratively as part of a teamMust pass a pre-employment drug screening and background checkStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate recordsPhysical RequirementsFrequent climbing, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching (including overhead), and crawlingMust be able to stand or walk for most of the shiftCapable of lifting up to 50 lbs with or without assistanceUse of hand tools and manual dexterity required for assembly tasksPhysically active work environment requiring stamina and coordinationWhy Join Us?Competitive starting pay based on experienceSupportive team environmentOpportunity to work with a growing company and develop new skillsStrong safety culture with consistent work schedulesApply now and take the next step in your manufacturing career with us!
