Director of Construction Business Development

Discover your exciting role Total Facility Solutions/Exentec Installation Services is currently seeking an experienced Director of Business Development. This role is responsible for assisting with developing annual construction incoming orders and revenue forecasts and then working with Operations Directors to meet these objectives. This role can be located in Plano, TX, Salt Lake City, UT, Raleigh, NC or Malta, NY. Explore your tasks and responsibilities Adopts and promotes the Total Facility Solutions, Inc. (TFS) commitment to always provide a safe workplace that strives for an Incident and Injury Free environment where everyone goes home safe every day Upholds the core values in dealing with potential customers, new and existing customers, and fellow employees Establishes annual strategic business development plans based upon market intelligence, knowledge of customers’ needs, and alignment with TFS goals Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identifies and develops the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators Establishes and manages business development expense budget and maximizes return on investment of marketing and business development activities Defines and facilitates core business development activities. Prospects for potential new clients and turns this into increased business Researches and builds relationships with new Clients. Schedules meetings with client decision makers Oversees and facilitates preparation of risk review process (PIRA/TERA) for opportunities that require it Works with Operations Directors to ensure the CRM (Sales Force) is updated. Schedules periodic meetings to review with Senior Management Works with management and the Estimating team on proposal deliverables. Assists with developing and writing proposals, cover letters, marketing letters and other communications Performs the necessary follow up as well as the overcoming objections strategies to work towards a mutually beneficial negotiated agreement Shapes the developments and priorities within TFS by participating in Management Meetings, Sales/Ops meetings and keeping the team informed as appropriate Assists company leadership in identifying conventions and industry trade shows that are important to attend; representing TFS at these shows as required Collaborates with Exyte U.S., Inc. and Exyte Group Business Units as necessary Other duties as assigned Show your expertise Associates Degree in Business, Marketing or related field is required 8+ years of comparable experience Prior experience in Construction and/or Engineering Industry required Prior sales experience required Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels Ability in problem-solving and negotiation Results driven with a proven sales track record Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Demonstrated commitment to customer service About Total Facility Solutions/Exentec Installation Services As a wholly owned subsidiary of Exyte Group, Total Facility Solutions (TFS)/Exentec Installation Services provides solutions that are designed to deliver mechanical, electrical, and process piping systems to all markets.
