Accounts Payable Specialist

Role: Accounts Payable Specialist: Location: Northbrook, IL Pay: $27 - $29 / HOUR Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision Enter and process invoices in SAP ERP system, handling 400+ invoices per week Review, analyze, and reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with internal teams and external vendors Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and account details Review and process credit memos within established guidelines Research and resolve duplicate invoice issues Create and maintain vendor records, including new vendor setup and changes Ensure compliance with accounting controls by reviewing approvals and expenditures Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues Manage month-end and year-end close activities, including cutoff and invoice accruals Review and submit invoices through SAP Validation client, ensuring data accuracy Operate effectively in a paperless, high-volume environment Perform additional finance-related duties as assigned Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
