Role: Accounts Payable Specialist:
Location: Northbrook, IL
Pay: $27 - $29 / HOUR
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision
- Enter and process invoices in SAP ERP system, handling 400+ invoices per week
- Review, analyze, and reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with internal teams and external vendors
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and account details
- Review and process credit memos within established guidelines
- Research and resolve duplicate invoice issues
- Create and maintain vendor records, including new vendor setup and changes
- Ensure compliance with accounting controls by reviewing approvals and expenditures
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues
- Manage month-end and year-end close activities, including cutoff and invoice accruals
- Review and submit invoices through SAP Validation client, ensuring data accuracy
- Operate effectively in a paperless, high-volume environment
- Perform additional finance-related duties as assigned
