TTM stands for time-to-market, representing how TTM's time-critical, one-stop design, engineering and manufacturing services enable customers to reduce the time required to develop new products and bring them to market.A Planning Supervisor is responsible for the general supervision of the planning department.Duties and Responsibilities:Schedule and assign work within the Planning department to regulate workflow and meet required department throughput.Handle resource management and utilization for the manufacturing process.Manage the Planning staff through effective selection, training and evaluation of team members. Participate in various employee-related activities for team members, including Time and Attendance, Employee Relations, Training, and Performance Reviews.Develop and mentor personnel by providing coaching and guidance with technical knowledge and career developmentResolve and handle requests from other departments (manufacturing, quality, CS) for information and changesEnsuring that business goals, deadlines and performance standards are metLead customer calls, address questions and concerns, and recommend effective solutionsResponsible for department decision-making and for work performed by team membersUpdate/upkeep of procedures and work instructionsBe available after hours and weekends – on the phone, via email and sometimes in personCollaborate with other departments as neededNote: The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees, and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances.
