Insurance Product Analyst IV, State Product Management - Remote

Responsibilities Lead complex analyses to develop actionable recommendations aimed at growth and profitability targets in responsible states. Proactively assess market risks and opportunities, evaluate multiple solutions, and maximize data-based insights to influence decisions. Access and analyze large data sets using tools such as Snowflake, SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Essbase (and other tools like SAS, Power BI, Python as appropriate). Understand and communicate the performance and strategy of personal lines auto and property products in assigned markets. Quantify catastrophe risk and identify risk management strategies. Build annual revenue plans and explain variances to these plans. Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Actuarial, Finance, and other teams to support development, design, and implementation of new products, programs, and processes. Deliver effective presentations of findings to internal and external stakeholders, adapting content as appropriate. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts. Qualifications 6+ years of analytical experience in a related industry; multi-function experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong research, statistical, analytical, processing, and mathematical skills with the ability to structure and conduct analyses. Adaptability with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively. Ability to make effective formal presentations and communicate clearly (verbal and written). Ability to work in a team environment and coach/mentor coworkers with effective interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge of insurance, accounting, and rate-making concepts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAS, SQL, Visual Basic, and other analytical techniques. Active engagement in shaping company culture (e.g., participating in employee groups, volunteering). Willingness to participate in camera-enabled onboarding and to build relationships with team members. Willingness to travel for role needs, including divisional and team meetings.
