Our growing company is seeking a Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician in the Schaumburg, IL location.At ABX we offer:A collaborative, innovative, and inclusive cultureFun and challenging work that makes a differenceCompetitive salary and benefits packageFlex PayStandard schedule Monday-Thursday, 6am-4pmExcellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, 401k with match, and much more!Responsibilities:Determine the cause of mechanical breakdowns on assigned manufacturing equipment and return equipment to proper operating order in minimum time.Determine the cause of basic electrical breakdowns on assigned manufacturing equipment and return equipment to proper operating order in minimum time. May require assistance for more advanced electrical issues.Assemble or disassemble assigned production lines or support equipment as required for repairs or installations.Make necessary mechanical and basic electrical adjustments to production lines or support equipment to ensure proper operation. May require assistance for more advanced electrical issues.Regularly inspect production lines and support equipment and oil, grease, clean, repair, or modify same in performing preventive maintenance routines.Order spare parts, replacement parts, and other materials required through group leader, inventory, or supervisor.Effectively and safely use a wide variety of common hand tools and all shop machines (including welders).Perform all tasks within established safety and maintenance procedures.Enter all work through maintenance tracking system and complete all assignments as directedCommunicate with manager and production leads about on-going issues and ability to provide resolution with proper documentation and root cause analysis.Complete all required safety work orders and report back to manager upon completion.Follow all safety guidelines set forth by department, plant, and ABX.Preferred Qualifications:1-3 years industrial maintenance or relative experienceMust have good theoretical and applied understanding of mechanical theory and basic understanding of electrical theory and the manufacturing process.Able to read blueprints, specifications and building plans.Able to lift up to 50 pounds.Able to work effectively with co-workers in a team environment.Requires attention to detail.
