Primary Responsibilities and Duties Handles billing questions and payments Generated documents and produces correspondence to satisfy customer service requests Prepares summaries of insurance, schedules and proposals Verifies accuracy and coverage adequacy of policies. Requests changes to correct errors and follow up. Account review and recommend coverages, in an effort to round out accounts Process incoming mail requests and responds promptly and appropriately Verifies accuracy of all direct bill cancellation notices and take appropriate action Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing Interacts with others effectively by utilizing good communication skills, cooperates positively and provides information and guidance, as needed, to contribute to the agency Maintains an updated procedure manual Assists with the completion of applications, questionnaires, request loss runs, issue binders, ID cards, COI's and requests for proof of property insurance Represent yourself and the agency in a professional manner Qualifications Must have an active New York Property and Casualty License Ability to communicate orally and in writing with others to explain complex issues, receive and interpret information and respond appropriately Ability to understand written and oral communication Full knowledge of insurance products and coverage Ability to carry out complex tasks Ability to utilize computer programs and the Agency Management System Need to be a team player who is a self-starter Excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented #J-18808-Ljbffr Energy Jobline ZR
