Job Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania Physician Assistant license
• At least 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• Ability to work night shifts as needed
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification through AHA or Red Cross
• Stroke certification required
• NIHSS must be kept current annually
• Stroke CME and EMTALA education completion as required
• Must be local enough to commute in for scheduled shifts
• PAs only: Nurse Practitioners cannot be considered for this role

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medicine care to a wide variety of patients, with a focus on lower-acuity cases
• Evaluate and treat patients in the Emergency Department
• Review radiology and blood work when needed
• Assist with administrative tasks related to patient care
• Support triage and tech responsibilities when needed
• Collaborate with the ED team to ensure efficient, high-quality patient flow
