Job Description:

Work as a Registered Nurse in a 19-bed mixed unit CVICU/CVRU on the 3rd floor of the Heart Tower, providing surgical heart care in a high acuity environment with GE monitors and a Cerner EMR.

Responsibilities:

IABP management
IMPELLA usage
Hemodynamics monitoring
Frequent ambulation of patients
Pulling chest tubes
Pulling pacer wires
LVADS care supported by team
Intubation/Extubation

Requirements:

BLS/ACLS certification
Critical Care training
2 years CVICU or CVRU experience
Certification in Critical Care, Cardiac Surgery, or Recovery Room care preferred
