Shifts: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week, alternating weekends


Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Travel RN specializing in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) for a travel assignment in Asheville, NC. This role requires nursing expertise in a high-acuity environment, performing critical care duties. The absence of support staff such as HUCs or PCTs necessitates a high level of self-reliance and competence in various advanced nursing procedures and technologies.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - CVICU - Travel

• Titrate vesicant medications and familiar with pressors
• Administer sedation and paralytics
• Manage and experience with vents, trachs, and telemetry interpretation
• Understand hemodynamics and PA catheter setup and interpretation
• Perform procedures such as transvenous pacing, cardioversion, and TEE
• Familiarity with chest tube insertions and maintenance

Requirements of the RN - CVICU - Travel

• ICU experience required
• Proficiency in titration of vesicant meds, familiarity with pressors, sedation, paralytics
• Experience with vents, trachs, telemetry interpretation
• Understanding of hemodynamics and PA catheter setup and interpretation
• Advanced skills such as IABP, Impella, CRRT appreciated
• Certifications: None required but CCRN recommended
