Your future role at a glance Location: Manhattan, KS Facility: Ascension Via Christi Specialty: Rehab Schedule: Night Shift l Full-time | Three 12 hour shifts per week, rotating weekends and holidays #NextGenHealthcare Via Christi associates are eligible for tuition discounts and priority placement in select healthcare programs through our academic partnership with Wichita State University. How you'll make an impact in this role Provide hands‑on assistance with basic patient care under the guidance of licensed nursing staff Support safe patient movement, transfers, and positioning Observe and report changes in patients’ physical, emotional, or mental condition to the nursing team promptly Accurately document care activities and observations in patient records Maintain clean, organized patient rooms and ensure medical equipment is properly cared for and ready for use What minimum qualifications you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: High School Diploma or GED OR an active CNA Certification required.
