Over your time as an analyst, you’ll develop a solid understanding of the global markets while building your communication, quantitative and analytical skills. After intensive initial training, you will start your career as a salesperson or a trader on a specific desk in one of our business areas, including: Client Capital Management, Client Strategy, Commodities, Credit, eFICC Trading, Equities, Equity Financing, Foreign Exchange, Municipals, Rates, Structuring, Securitized Products 

As a Securitized Products Origination analyst, you may:

• support the structuring, rating and execution of asset backed debt transactions and warehouse facilities

• prepare quantitative analysis such as stratifying collateral pools, running stress tests and modeling waterfall mechanics

• assist senior bankers in designing tranche structures and liasing with rating agencies

• prepare pitch decks, roadshow presentations, internal committee materials and market commentary

1-2 year targeted, fast-track program focused on developing specialist technical expertise

Who we're looking for
To be considered for this program, you must be motivated and curious and be in your final year of study at an undergraduate degree program. 

Ideally, you'll have a GPA of 3.2 or above. You'll have an interest in business and finance, a good work ethic and be keen to learn and develop a technical skill set. 

Working in New York
You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.

Purpose of the role

To participate in the day-to-day activities of the markets division providing insights and expertise that help senior colleagues make informed decisions, develop new products and services, and identify new market opportunities.

Accountabilities

• Execution of small research projects, research to support strategic decision making, preparation of presentations and reports to communicate research findings, collaboration with senior management to implement research findings for the global markets division.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
• Participation in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Identification of opportunities, development of business cases, management of the deployment and launch of new products and services for the global markets division.
• Management of client relationships and provision of customer service support to clients and customers, under steadily decreasing supervision, responding to questions about products and services, processing of transactions.
• Management of the development and implementation of financial models and strategies that support in decision making in the global markets division.
• Training and mentoring of junior colleagues.
