A typical day may include scheduled 1:1 treatment sessions, new patient assessments, progress notes, updating plans of care, communicating with families and referring providers, and participating in team meetings or case conferences. Patient volume is structured to allow for thorough, quality care and appropriate documentation time. This outpatient pediatric setting generally operates daytime hours on weekdays, with potential for some flexibility in scheduling to meet family needs and clinic operations. The clinic utilizes an electronic medical record system to support accurate, efficient documentation, scheduling, and communication.
