Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia. This role involves providing critical care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. The ideal candidate will have hospital setting experience and possess current licensure and certifications to ensure quality patient care. Job Details: Schedule: Evening shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Two years of experience in a hospital setting, active Virginia nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications. Preferred Qualifications: TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), previous experience in a healthcare facility with typical functions of an emergency department. Additional Information: The unit has 50 cardiac monitored beds and an 8-bed Rapid Treatment Area, staffed by approximately 120 team members including registered nurses, clinical nurses, emergency department technicians, and medics. The environment requires positive, teamwork-oriented, and flexible personalities. No float rotation is required. Candidates must be available on weekends, with no on-call duties.
