Specialist I - Materials Management

Catalent seeks a Materials Management Specialist I for its Madison facility to perform warehouse and inventory operations including picking, staging, shipment coordination, and materials handling. The role operates Monday–Friday, 11am–7pm, on-site, requiring strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with moderate supervision in a cGMP environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stock, verify, and deliver materials using FEFO inventory methodology
• Manage work orders including printing, picking, staging, issuing, and closing
• Prepare and coordinate domestic and international shipments with required documentation
• Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming materials in appropriate system locations
• Maintain inventory records, conduct cycle counts, and support freezer/cooler operations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years warehouse, shipping, or materials operations experience
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicle
• Warehouse equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners) preferred
• Inventory management system experience (JD Edwards or similar) preferred
• Pharmaceutical or cGMP environment experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in cold storage environments
