Quality Assurance Inspector

PrideStaff on behalf of a client located in Fort Lauderdale is looking for an experienced and professional Quality Assurance Inspector to be part of this great team

• Conduct thorough inspections using various methods to assess product airworthiness.
• Interpret engineering publications, FAA regulations, shop travelers, and manufacturer technical data to define inspection scopes.
• Use calibrated measuring instruments to verify part dimensions, clearances, and tolerances.
• Audit maintenance documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to return-to-service approval.
• Document discrepancies using company forms and communicate findings to technicians and department leads.
• Monitor compliance with 14 CFR Part 145 and the FAA-approved Repair and Quality Control Manual.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of all maintenance and inspections, including data entry into electronic systems.
• Support technicians through mentoring and coordinate with management and planning teams to prioritize tasks

• High School Diploma, or equivalent required.
• Valid & Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant, or Powerplant certification.
• Minimum 18 months of practical experience using various inspection methods or techniques.
• Minimum 5 years performing similar duties for a Repair Station or maintenance facility.
• Have extensive knowledge of airworthiness requirements and approval for return to service.
