Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing personalized treatment plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, and chronic health conditions independently or in collaboration with physicians
• Providing education to patients and their families about preventive care, wellness, and ongoing management of diseases
• Prescribing medications and treatment modalities within the legal scope of practice
• Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management

Education Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certification Requirements

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Oklahoma
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
