Job Description\n TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Paramus, New Jersey.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Physical Therapy Assistant\n Discipline: Therapy\n Start Date: 09/20/2026\n Duration: 12 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 8 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Job Title: Physical Therapist AssistantLocation:Paramus NJ 07652Shift 40 hrs/week 8x5 8 am to 5 pm\n Duration: 13 weeksMinimum Guarantee hours: 32 hrs/week\n \n The responsibility of this position includes the day to day therapeutic intervention of appropriate individuals in the rehab environment under the supervision of a registered Physical Therapist, in accordance with the policies and procedures as established by the facility, Medicare, private insurance, and Client.\n Duties and Responsibilities:\n \n \n Assists the registered Physical Therapist in carrying out procedures and programs.\n Performs routine treatment procedures in accordance with the planned program.\n Observes, records and reports to his/her supervisor conditions, reactions and responses related to his/her assigned duties.\n Reports any pertinent findings to the registered therapist.\n Helps maintain appropriate records.\n Participates in educational activities of the facility.\n Directs Physical Therapy Aides regarding physical therapy treatments as necessary and appropriate at the time of treatment under the supervision of a registered Physical Therapist.\n Maintains specific treatment area where he/she has given treatment.\n Communicates with patient's physician as necessary regarding patient's progress, treatments, etc., in consultation with the supervising Physical Therapist.\n Other duties as assigned.\n \n Qualifications:\n \n \n \n Graduation from an approved and accredited therapist program.\n Current certification with the American Physical Therapy Association.\n Licensed by the State in the designated geographic area in his/her respective therapy profession.\n Demonstrates the ability to perform the following tasks without posing a threat to the health or safety of him/herself or others without risk to self, co-workers, caregivers, or patient; lift, turn, move position, and transport the patient into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.\n Demonstrates the ability to perform a minimum of minimal assist transfer.” Minimal assist transfers are defined for purposes of this document as the ability to lift and control 50 pounds.\n \n \n \n #PHYTH1\n \n TalentBurst, Inc Job ID #26-28465.
