Quick Facts Location: 2550 Sister Mary Columba Drive, Red Bluff, CA 96080 Start Date: 06/25/2026 Duration: Ongoing, with specific shifts in July 2026 (07/25–07/29) Shift: 24-hour on-call for OB/GYN ED (no clinic or office patients) Hours per Week: Varies (on-call duties only) Employment Type: Locum, part-time with full scope responsibilities Licensure/Certs: Active California medical license, current board certification in OB/GYN; credentialing required (30-60 days) Experience: Full scope OB/GYN practice including deliveries, Gynecological surgeries (C-section/vaginal) Pay & Benefits On-Call (Daily): $5,000 - $6,000 flat rate (includes all hours) Holiday Call: $7,500 - $9,000 flat rate (includes all hours) Benefits: Competitive Pay Packages Weekly Pay Schedule via Direct Deposit Comprehensive Medical Benefits (W-2) Robust Referral Bonus Program Paid Sick Time (aligned with state and federal laws) Licensure, Certification, Travel & Other Reimbursements (when applicable) What You’ll Do Provide full scope OB/GYN care, including deliveries and gynecological surgeries Respond promptly within 20 minutes for emergency on-call situations Collaborate with dedicated staff including an MA and Practice Manager Support inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN services during assigned shifts Maintain documentation using Cerner EMR system Ensure quality care while adhering to hospital policies and protocol What You Need Valid California medical license and current board certification in OB/GYN Experience performing deliveries (vaginal and C-section) and gynecological surgeries Ability to respond to calls within 20 minutes during on-call shifts Credentialing with other facilities (30-60 days timeframe) – emergency privileges possible Must not require proctoring/monitoring restrictions to qualify for hospital privileges About the Assignment This assignment involves providing OB/GYN on-call coverage at a leading hospital in Red Bluff, CA. The focus is on delivering comprehensive OB/GYN services, including deliveries and gynecological procedures, with support from dedicated medical and administrative staff. There are no NICU responsibilities, and patient volume varies daily.
