Metasys Technologies is looking for a SQL Data Analyst for a permanent opportunity. Job Description We have a great opportunity with one of our clients for a SQL Data Analyst role. Job Title: SQL Data Analyst Location: Houston, TX 77002 Duration: Permanent Job Responsibilities Capturing and processing massive amounts of data for thousands of different tradable instruments, including stocks, bonds, futures, contracts, commodities, and more. Performing manual and programmatic steps, research, and coordination with others. Requirements Experience writing UNIX/LINUX shell scripts. Intermediate programming skills. Ideally C++, Java, or Python. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills. Eagerness to work in an evolving and fast-paced environment. While industry experience is a plus, we are open-minded in our search for critical thinkers who are passionate about technology. Qualifications A bachelor’s degree from a top school. University coursework in programming and computing systems. Additional Information Relocation assistance is available - in the form of a sign-on bonus - likely $2K to 4K.
