Job Opportunity Position Details This is a temporary, on-site position located in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The role requires compliance with the flu vaccine requirement. Shift Information
- Shift Type: Day 5x8-Hour
- Work Hours: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a Patient Services Representative (PSR) or healthcare administrative role, preferably within a hospital setting.
- Preferred Experience: 2 years as a PSR
- Familiarity with health plan insurances and the authorization process
- Experience with EPIC system
- Knowledge of surgery scheduling
- Advanced proficiency with the EPIC system
- Experience in scheduling for surgery
- Scheduling patients for surgery procedures.
- Obtaining all necessary pre-operative results and reports.
- Financially clearing patients for their surgeries by obtaining necessary authorizations.
- Performing additional duties as required.
