Financial Aid Advisor

Financial Aid Advisor Are you passionate about helping students achieve their dreams? As a Financial Aid Advisor, you’ll be a trusted guide—helping students and their families navigate the financial aid process with clarity, compassion, and care. Whether you’re working with future students as they get ready to start school or supporting current students as they continue their journey, your mission is to provide friendly guidance, accurate information, and smart solutions every step of the way. If you love fast‑paced teamwork, meaningful conversations, and making a real impact—this is the job for you! What We Offer Pay: $25 - $30 per hour Hours: Monday–Thursday: 10 a.m.–7 p.m.; Friday: 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Paid training Tuition waiver: after 6 months of employment for you and your immediate family at UTI and Concorde campuses Paid time off: vacation, sick, flexible, holiday Retirement matching: 50% match on the first 6% contributions after 90days Paid parental leave: 4weeks for both birthing and non‑birthing parents Competitive insurance: health, vision, and dental for you and dependents Pet insurance: coverage through ASPCA Health plan enrollment: eligibility starts first of month following one full month of employment Responsibilities Guide students through every step of the financial aid process Provide exceptional service with compassion, clarity, and efficiency Identify and address barriers to starting or continuing school with creative solutions Explain federal aid, FAFSA, scholarships, and more to help students make informed financial decisions Collaborate closely with Admissions, Student Services, and other teams to enhance student satisfaction and success Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred 3years customer service or sales experience; 2years in financial aid highly preferred Experience with TitleIV preferred Skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency with computer applications (Word, Excel, SharePoint) #J-18808-Ljbffr
