As a LOB Risk Specialist Senior within PNC's Total Rewards organization, you will be based in either Pittsburgh, PA; Birmingham, AL; Washington DC; Chicago, IL; or Cleveland, OH.Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion. Additional locations may be considered. The LOB Risk Specialist Senior will be a member of the Operational Excellence & Enablement Team supporting the compensation team, incentive management team, and partners in the lines of business and control areas. The role will advise, manage, and oversee various risk framework activities – both base and variable compensation – and further develop specific enterprise risk programs. Examples of Job Responsibilities: • Leads and coordinates risk management and governance activities supporting compensation programs, including the execution of assessments, monitoring activities, and related risk oversight processes.• Provides consultative guidance to Total Rewards leaders on enterprise risk management requirements and governance practices, partnering to evaluate risks, strengthen controls, resolve Issues, and ensure alignment with regulatory expectations.• Develops, maintains, and enhances governance frameworks, reporting, risk management tools to improve process effectiveness and operational efficiency.• Ensures Audit and ETS readiness through continuous monitoring of the control environment, updates to internal desktop documents and departmental procedures, and diligent oversight and remediation of Issues.PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. Enables line of business adherence with risk management programs.Participates in the design and development of the risk management program to meet business and regulatory expectations. Leads in the design and development of specific risk management program components.Executes the risk management programs within or across the lines of business (e.g. - business self-assessment and quality reviews). May lead cross functional teams.Provides risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Credit, Legal, Audit).Leads or influences risk initiatives and business as usual activities. Identifies risk, assesses impact and makes recommendations on resolution.
