Specialty Business Manager, Derm - Brooklyn N, NY

About the Role The Dermatology sales force drives demand (post potential regulatory approval) through education, educating healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizing business opportunities in Dermatology-focused physician offices, clinics, and hospital accounts. The Specialty Business Manager (SBM) applies business processes to benefit patients and achieve sales goals. How you will contribute Support account onboarding through education. Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers through an educational continuum. Support initial clinical/patient access education for medical staff. Coordinate clinical education (e.g., peer-to-peer) for HCPs. Manage accounts across Dermatology practices, clinics, and independent physician offices. Achieve territory sales goals/metrics by executing brand strategy and tactics. Build relationships with decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use. Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies. Execute local marketing strategies to build customer engagement. Present complex clinical and business information to Dermatologists and relevant groups. Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatments. Strategically manage allocated resources. Minimum Requirements BA/BS. 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or 2+ years selling at Takeda). Dermatologist/Dermatology calling experience highly preferred. Business/strategic planning, managed care understanding. Strong communication, influencing, and collaboration. Reside within or close to assigned geography. Preferred 5+ years direct selling to HCPs. Experience calling on Dermatologists; managing complex reimbursement issues. Licenses/Certifications Valid Driver’s License. Travel Drive/fly to accounts; occasional overnight travel (25–50%).
