UGM seeks a year-round full-time Children's Enrichment Specialist.

Job Duties:

• Plans and oversees implementation of parent engagement activities and STEAM / literacy enrichment activities while ensuring the supervision, safety, and the overall well-being of students served. Conduct reading and behavioral assessments.
• Implements Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) interventions across all phases of enrichment programming, under the direction of the Clinical Therapist and Enrichment Program Coordinator.
• Implements a structured and predictable daily schedule. Ensures low staff to student ratios promoting a trauma sensitive learning environment conducive to the needs of trauma affected students.
• Provide assistance with class rotation, restroom breaks, and taking student attendance.
• Monitors and reports student attendance. Adheres to low staff to student ratios to effectively promote a trauma sensitive learning environment conducive to the needs of trauma affected students.
• Assists the TCEP in meeting its quality improvement, evaluation, and reporting requirements.
• Maintains a high quality, safe, and healthy environment in adherence to TCEP Policy and Procedure
• Track, complete, and communicate all accidents and behavioral incidents with the Afterschool Program Director

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required, an Associates in a related field preferred.
• Previous experience working with students in an afterschool or early childhood education capacity.
