Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver coordinated nursing care for patients in accordance with established standards and the nursing process. This role involves supervising and directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines. The position requires the utilization of critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing care for patients or assigned groups of patients according to established standards.
Supervise and direct nursing staff at various levels, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals.
Utilize critical thinking and professional judgment in daily nursing practice.

Requirements

Must be available for night shift and have the ability to work 36 or 48 hours as needed.
Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is required.

Education and Work Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
Prior experience in an acute care setting is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per organizational policy is mandatory.
AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification is required.
