Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process. This role involves supervising and directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, and utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for the following:

• Collecting relevant data pertaining to the patient's health or situation.
• Analyzing assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
• Developing a plan that prescribes interventions to achieve expected outcomes.
• Implementing care plans, coordinating care delivery, and employing strategies to promote health and safety.
• Evaluating progress toward achieving health outcomes.
• Collaborating with the patient, family, and healthcare team to provide a safe and supportive care environment.
• Providing educational opportunities for patients, families, and team members.
• Offering health information directly to patients and their families.
• Participating in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegating tasks appropriately and coordinating the responsibilities of healthcare team members.
• Performing other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Experience in an acute care facility: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required
