Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description

This role focuses on receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items within a clean, climate-controlled warehouse environment. You will support accurate inventory management, safe handling of stock, and efficient packing and shipping of individual patient prescriptions while working on your feet throughout your shift.

• Receive and count stock items and accurately record data manually or using a computer system.
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
• Verify inventory counts by comparing physical stock to recorded data and investigate discrepancies or correct errors.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other designated areas.
• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Keep detailed records of stock usage, damage, and the condition of stock handling equipment.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects and report any damage or issues to supervisors.
• Provide assistance and direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers as needed.
• Perform lifting, scanning, picking, packing, auditing, shipping and receiving tasks using RF scanners and other warehouse tools.
• Handle material loading, general labor, and production-related tasks associated with packing and shipping individual patient prescriptions.
• Match labels accurately to ensure correct items are packed and shipped to the appropriate destination.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving ability to resolve inventory and stock issues.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies that support secure and compliant warehouse operations.
• Ability to work on your feet for up to 10-hour shifts.
• Ability to accurately match labels and follow written instructions.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
• 2–4 years of relevant warehouse, stockroom, or storage yard experience.
• High school diploma or GED.

• Experience with lifting, scanning, picking, packing, auditing, and shipping and receiving tasks.
• Hands-on experience using RF scanners for inventory and order processing.
• Background in inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Experience in general labor, material handling, loading, and production environments.
• Comfort working in a light-duty warehouse setting focused on packing and shipping individual patient prescriptions.

You will work in a light-duty, climate-controlled facility that offers a comfortable alternative to more physically demanding warehouses. The position is based in a clean, climate-controlled micro-fulfillment center designed for packing and shipping individual patient prescriptions. The work is light duty compared to larger, more physically demanding warehouses, though you will be on your feet for most of your shift. Full-time day shifts typically run Sunday through Wednesday from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., full-time evening shifts run Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., and part-time evening shifts are available on Friday and Sunday from 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. You may use one earbud or ear pod to listen to music or podcasts while working, as permitted. The facility emphasizes cleanliness, safety, and efficient workflow, with standard warehouse attire appropriate for a production and material-handling environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Liberty, MO.

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
