Seeking two licensed Pharmacists to support hospital pharmacy operations in Johnson City, NY. This contract opportunity offers an engaging environment where clinical expertise and patient care are paramount. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients and healthcare providers.
- Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize pharmacotherapy.
- Provide medication counseling and education to patients and hospital staff.
- Maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor inventory and ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Pharmacist license in the state of New York.
- Proven experience working as a Pharmacist in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong clinical knowledge of pharmacology and drug therapies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within healthcare teams.
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Schedule/Hours:
