Summary: 

We are a well-established and growing property management firm specializing in the care of luxury residences for ultra-high net worth individuals. We maintain our clients’ homes to the highest standard and handle their personal and lifestyle requests with the same care. Our teams are based on Los Angeles, New York, and London and we service clients and homes all over the world.

About the Role: 

As an Associate Estate Manager, you will be the on-the-ground lead for a portfolio of 5-10 properties in New York and D.C., reporting to our Director of Estate Management and V.P. of Operations. You will work with vendors, our in-house team, and our clients’ support staff to make sure every home runs flawlessly, and every request is handled quickly and discreetly. No two days are the same. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Weekends and On-call: Our clients rely on us seven days a week. You will need to respond to client requests, texts, and emails on weekends. Occasional after-hours, in-person support for urgent client needs. 
• D.C. travel: This role requires travel to D.C. at least once a week to oversee properties in that region. This is most often a day trip by train, with costs covered by the company. 
• Perform regular property checks using our proprietary checklist 
• Coordinate and oversee maintenance, repairs, and client-requested projects on site 
• Communicate with vendors and internal Mister Peele staff to execute property tasks 
• Manage vendor contracts, proposals, and schedules for all work 
• Keep precise, accurate records for each property in our proprietary software 
• Arrange and oversee pre-arrival and post-departure tasks for the properties in your portfolio 
• Serve as a point of contact for clients and their support staff, fielding requests and providing timely updates 
• Uphold our standards of discretion and confidentiality at all times 

What You’ll Bring:

Required Experience 

• 2+ years in luxury property, hotel, or residential management, or equivalent experience 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Meticulous attention to detail 
• Comfort with Google Workspace and other productivity tools 
• Ability to meet the D.C. travel and weekend availability described above 

Preferred Experience 

• Working knowledge of home systems like HVAC, security, AV and smart-home, pools, and landscaping 
• Familiarity with New York co-op and condo building protocols (board approvals, building staff, move-in rules) 
• Experience supporting high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth families, family offices, or other private clients
