Field Service Technician

Role Description

Harris & Bruno International, an international manufacturer of printing press equipment & ancillaries, is looking for a Field Service Technician. Responsible for the following for company products on printing presses:

Installation
Start-up
Commissioning
Training
Troubleshooting
Repair
Demonstration of the capabilities of the equipment to the customer effectively at a professional level

Will travel domestically and internationally up to 100% of the time.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of field service experience in both mechanical and electronic equipment or equivalent technical degree/training
Printing press experience a strong plus
Knowledge of inline tower coaters or offline coaters and coating applications a plus
Experience in a position that travels a plus

Requirements

Strong mechanical aptitude
Familiarity with industrial automation, Programmable Logic Controls (PLC), pneumatic systems and industrial electronics
Strong ability to troubleshoot and fix mechanical and electrical problems on site
Familiarity with industrial machinery, power transmission and mechanical assemblies
Familiarity with printing process and/or printing machinery a strong plus
