The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers, preparing and analyzing budgets, and performing general bookkeeping. The role requires 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with a demonstrated proficiency in financial statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

We are currently on the hunt for a seasoned Permanent Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. This is an exhilarating opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual who is passionate about numbers and financial management.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements.
• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
• Report to management regarding the finances of the organization.
• Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
• Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
• Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, or maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
• Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Ensure compliance with all internal processes and legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency in financial statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.
• Adherence to laws and confidentiality guidelines.
• Working knowledge of financial software.
