Batcher I - Tucson, AZThe Batcher is responsible for preparing and mixing appropriate ingredients required to produce finished syrup for KDP's line of beverages while maintaining KDP's high standards in safety and quality. This role will also be engaged in complying with and understanding the manufacturing processes to lead in the improvement of safety, quality, delivery, productivity and growth.This is a full time position working 3rd shift Monday - Friday from 9:30pm to 6:00am. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.Maintain a safe and healthy environment, demonstrating safe behaviors alwaysUnderstand and help drive improvements to quality systems and policies (Quality Data System, Safe Quality Food, Good Manufacturing Practices. and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)Collaborate with production team members to maintain continuous flow of syrup to the linesMix and blend ingredients to create various batches. Learn to safely and efficiently operate batching equipment including set up, operation, and sanitizationEnsure food safety through quality checks and accurate record keepingInventory and control ingredients and receive sugarGenerate productivity and continuous improvement ideasDemonstrate KDP values of Team First, Deliver Big, Think Bold, Being Fearless and FairPay starting at $22.50 per hour. Mechanical understanding and food manufacturing experience preferredAbility to quickly learn to operate a forklift safely around pedestriansSelf-motivated team player with ability to make decisions, communicate and problem solve, and remain flexibleComfort with basic computer functions and ability to quickly learn production softwareBasic mathematical skills to make production calculationsLift, push and pull up to 50lbs. Ability to bend, stretch and stand during entire shift.
