Responsibilities: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their home environment Help with mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation as needed Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to client dietary needs and preferences Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities as needed Document and communicate any changes in client condition to supervisors promptly Requirements: Prior experience as a PCA, HHA, CNA, or in a similar caregiving role preferred Genuine compassion, patience, and a client-centered approach to care Ability to assist with physical tasks including lifting and transferring clients Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to pass a background check and drug screening CPR/First Aid certification is a plus About Us: ComForCare Home Health Care (North San Diego) is a trusted provider of in‑home personal care and companion services dedicated to helping clients live their best lives possible.
