Job Description

• Perform in-depth patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical exams and thorough reviews of their medical histories
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging results and lab findings
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to formulate and implement patient-focused surgical treatment protocols
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance, which includes preparing surgical environments, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and efficiently passing surgical instruments
• Offer outstanding preoperative and postoperative care, which encompasses administering medications, managing wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a focus on surgical experience highly valued

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
