Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments through physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical issues using imaging studies and lab analysis
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical care plans
• Provide vital intraoperative assistance by preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, wound care, discharge planning, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations emphasizing surgery preferred

Certifications

• Current, unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications necessary
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
