Position Responsibilities

• Perform complete patient assessments, encompassing physical exams and thorough medical history evaluations
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through careful interpretation of lab results and imaging studies
• Work in partnership with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance, which includes preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver exemplary pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference for candidates with a history of clinical rotations focusing on surgical care

Necessary Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
