We're hiring an A-Level or strong B-Level Automotive Technician to join a well-equipped shop working on a diverse mix of vehicles, with a heavier focus on European makes. About Automotive Ingenuity

Automotive Ingenuity is looking for a technician who wants more than a place to turn wrenches.

Our shop works on a diverse vehicle mix, with approximately 40% European, 25% Domestic, 25% Asian, and 10% specialty and other vehicles . That means you'll see everything from European vehicles to everyday general repair, newer technology, EVs, and the occasional specialty job.

The facility features 7 bays and 7 lifts , plus an additional outdoor lift when needed. All indoor bays are heated, and the shop is equipped with professional diagnostic technology including Snap-on, Launch, Autel, and factory-specific laptops and software .

What You’ll Do

\n
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
\n
• Perform general automotive maintenance and repair
\n
• Complete thorough multi-point vehicle inspections
\n
• Identify safety concerns and needed maintenance
\n
• Complete digital vehicle inspections
\n
• Work efficiently with Service Advisors and the rest of the repair team
\n
• Document findings clearly and accurately
\n
• Handle a variety of European, Domestic, Asian, and specialty vehicles
\n
• Use modern scan tools and diagnostic equipment to accurately identify vehicle concerns
\n

What We’re Looking For

\n
• 5+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience preferred
\n
• A-Level or strong B-Level technician capabilities
\n
• Strong general repair skills
\n
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
\n
• Ability to perform a thorough multi-point inspection and identify vehicle needs
\n
• Comfortable working on multiple makes and models
\n
• Valid driver's license
\n
• Dependable, motivated, and serious about building a long-term automotive career
\n

Nice to Have

\n
• ASE certifications
\n
• State inspection/emissions license
\n
• DVI experience
\n
• Factory or dealership training
\n
• European vehicle experience
\n
• Experience with Tekmetric
\n
• Familiarity with Snap-on, Launch, Autel, or factory diagnostic software
\n

Don't have DVI experience? That's okay. We're willing to train the right technician on our digital inspection process. What matters is that you already understand how to properly inspect a vehicle, identify what it needs, and perform quality repairs.
