General Manager

General Manager We're looking for an experienced manager to lead a select-service hotel. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, lead team members, drive guest satisfaction, and ensure overall property success. Requirements: * General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience required * Be able to manage time effectively, complete required tasks on time * Ability to delegate authority effectively to subordinates * Ability to recruit, select, and retain quality associates * Ability to produce financial results in line with budgeted objectives and labor models * Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook) required * Need to be a team player – if you like to work on an island by yourself, this won’t be a good fit for you! * Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly * Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure * Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary * Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying and resolving the concerns and issues raised by coworkers and guests * Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions Education & Experience: * At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel environment at the GM or AGM level required * Two- or four-year college degree preferred * Supervisory experience required * High School diploma or equivalent required * Stable work history required
