In this role, you’ll respond to equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance, and build your mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills alongside an experienced maintenance team.

3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $26.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Weekend work required
- Third Shift ( Sunday through Saturday from 09:00pm to 06:00am )
- Troubleshoot, service, and repair production equipment and facility systems to help minimize downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance, including inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments.
- Assist with equipment installations and relocations, including air, water, and electrical services.
- Help set up, change over, and fine-tune packaging equipment.
- Use hand tools and electrical testing equipment to diagnose and complete repairs.
- Follow lockout/tagout, PPE, food safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.
- Complete basic maintenance documentation and assist with other projects as needed.
3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of industrial maintenance experience; food manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with equipment installation, repair, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Familiarity with motors, sensors, relays, conveyors, ovens, mixers, or packaging equipment.
- Ability to use tools such as multimeters, continuity testers, and clamp meters.
- Basic computer skills for maintenance records and email.
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts and required overtime during peak periods.
