Recreation Coordinator

Job Title

Provides comprehensive assessment, recreation therapy and socialization and coordination of 24 hour care for PACE participants as part of the PACE interdisciplinary team. Plans, organizes and conducts a comprehensive program of individual and group recreation to enable participants to achieve optimum levels of independent functioning and socialization.

Qualifications

Two years of experience in a social or recreational setting providing and coordinating service for elderly populations within the last five years, one of which was full time in a patient activities program in a health care setting. Bilingual candidate is highly desired.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in recreational or activities therapy, music therapy or other therapeutic activities area preferred.
