Job Description

The Industrial Maintenance Technician troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains industrial electrical and mechanical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment. This role focuses on diagnosing issues with PLCs and HMIs, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting the installation and modification of mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), three-phase and single-phase circuits, relays, switches, power supplies, drives, gauges, and test equipment.
• Navigate, diagnose, and troubleshoot human-machine interfaces (HMIs) to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical machinery and electrical systems to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Assist with the installation, modification, and upgrade of mechanical and electrical systems to support production needs.
• Use precision tools such as micrometers, multimeters, indicators, and voltage testers to inspect, test, and verify equipment performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, sensors, AC/DC drives and motors, and servo drives.
• Diagnose and repair programmable logic controls (PLCs) using ladder logic and other diagnostic tools.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlington, NC.

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlington, NC.

This position is anticipated to close on Nov 3, 2026.
