• You will review and evaluate budget requests; control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

- Experience demonstrating knowledge of administrative and financial management systems, policies, precedents, goals, objectives, regulations, and guidelines of a functional area.

- Experience identifying, analyzing and resolving a range of budgetary problems such as development of alternative methods of funding; formulation of budget estimates for programs in which funding requirements have changed significantly.

- Experience performing analytical reasoning, skills leading to the identification, analysis and conceptualization of budgetary problems and development of alternative solutions.

- Experience understanding and analyzing budgetary policies, precedents, procedures, and regulations.

Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D.or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M., if related
