Regional Float Registered Nurse

Role Overview: The Regional Float RN provides safe, continuous, and high-quality patient care across multiple facilities within a designated market. They are part of a market-based nursing team, assigned to various units to meet patient needs. Responsibilities Deliver proficient nursing care in specialties such as medical/surgical, telemetry, critical/intermediate care, behavioral health, emergency, or women’s services. Operate independently, demonstrate professionalism, and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams. Mentor clinical nurses and share best practices to enhance nursing standards across facilities. Adopt and utilize organizational systems, technology, and workflows. Qualifications & Skills Education: Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree or BSN preferred. Experience: Proven experience in a relevant specialty. Licensure: Current compact nursing license in appropriate state. Certifications: Specialty certifications preferred; specific training such as NIH Stroke Scale and Cardiac Dysrhythmia required within designated timeframes. Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, critical thinking, and computer literacy. Ability to interpret patient needs based on age and modify care accordingly. Additional training and competency validation are required.
